How to connect Samsung Galaxy S3 to TV..
There are 3 ways to do this..
1. You can use a compatible MHL adapter that connects to the micro USB charging port of your phone and then a regular HDMI cable from your TV connects to the MHL adapter that's connected to your phone. You will have to connect the Samsung micro USB charging cable to the MHL adapter in order for this to work.
You will be able to see everything that you do on your device, however you will be limited to how you hold your phone if you are trying to play a game and direct what you see on the screen to the TV.
Note: the MHL adapter may overheat your device if you have it on and working for long periods of time.
2. You can use a remote access app on the phone to view on a PC/TV monitor. Depending on the remote access app, there maybe a lag seeing the image on your screen. Most apps like this are paid apps.
3. The Samsung Galaxy S3 phone has a natively installed software tool on the phone or can be downloaded from the Samsung Galaxy App Store (Available after you set up your Samsung account on your phone) that can link to a compatible DLNA device (most TV's that are 2005 or older). The app is called Samsung AllShare Play, or it may also be called Samsung Link
The keycode is "0000" (four zeros). Details for pairing the headphoneswith your mobile phone can be found in the owner's manual here, clickon the Support tab. I hope this helps.
power button is the little nipple between the phone and play/pause pictures on right side. You hold down for 2 seconds until blue light comes on to turn on. Too shut off hold down button 4 until red light comes on. if want too pair with device hold button down 6 seconds until light blinks blue red pass code is 0000
Yes, that is correct you need composite (or coax) cabling to your TV. The unit cannot carry the VHS signal via component video or digital audio cabling
the directions from Samsung to pair the headset was way off. You need to hold down the main button then turn on the headset. Only then will the headset go into pairing mode by maintaining a solid blue light. It took me a couple of days of troubleshooting and experimenting to realize this pairing method. I just hope that this problem is only due to my headset because I assume a lot of people who buy this headset and try out Samsung's directions will become very frustrated. I almost returned the product and I am sure many others would too.
I have a 26" Insignia HD-TV and just found out the cable remote code (to connect TV with the cable box) is 0463. If that's not what you need, try calling Insignia's help line at 877-467-4289
