Check Water Tap??

I would say on every 2 loads, we get a flashing CHECK WATER TAP on our readout. What is it and what can I check? We have had the Nexxt Premium set for about 4 or 5 years and never had a problem with it yet.  This is new.

Also having problems when the liquid softener dispenser will mix softener with water, but not drain. Any advice?

Remove the cold water hose from the washer look inside the parts of the washer you unscrewed it from, there is a plastic screen in there that needs to be clean out. you can pop it out with a small flat head screwdriver, clean it then pop it back in. also remove cold hose from valve on wall. there is another screen in there that needs to be cleaned. this will fix the problem

It is a software bug and happens when there are heavy cloths inside that suck up too much water. Then the water level does not rise fast enough, and the washer thinks that the water tap is closed. I am not aware of a firmware fix. We simply switch the washer on an off, and restart the cycle. Very annoying.

We have a Siemens dishwasherSN66T091GB. The unit is not showing a fault code but the 'tap' light and 'rinse aid' lights are flashing continuously.

Tap symbol indicates a water problem.

Check that the water supply to the dishwasher has been turned on.

Check that the water supply hose hasn't bent or kinked.

Check the water supply first, see what you find.

Rinse Aid symbol light indicates low on rinse additive.

Hope this helps?

We can hear water running but it's not filling the wash tub. There is no water leaking anywhere.

check that the tap is fully opened , the filter in the end of the hose is not blocked
check that the tap washer is not jammed off in the tap as they can expand and not move up to let water in
check water inlet solenoid is functional

Miele w310..drum fills with water slowly after a wash.put my head in...cant hear water leaking into it..

Did you open the water tap complete? When it is open all the way already, please close the tap complete and remove the hose and check the filter closest to the tap. Eventually clean it and put the hose back. Don't forget to open the tap again and check you did tighten the hose. (No leakage)

Fills with water and then stops and beeps and won;t continue. The hot and cold water buttons are flashing. Waterr starts trickling in and it is slowly spinning but doesn't seem to agitate

Hi just read your posting. The 2 lights that are flashing means your machine has not detected any water level difference.1st turn off both hot and cold taps and 1st remove the cold inlet hose from the machine end,Put the end of the hose into a bucket and turn the tap on.You should get a good flow of water. If you do not get a good flow of water then remove the tap end of the hose and see if you are getting water out of the tap.Check the inlet filters on both ends of the hose to see if they are blocked. If they are blocked clean them with a brush.Check also the water valve end where the hose connected to the machine to see if this filter is blocked. Once you have water coming out of the hose and all the filters are clean refit the hose and repeat to the hot hose. Now select a cycle and push start. If the water flow is good then the machine will work properly. If you still get slow water even when you have good pressure coming out of the hoses then your water valves are faulty. Please reply on how you got on and for further advice.looking forward to your reply.

Light of a red tap

This is indicating a problem with the water supply, check the inlet hose/s for a restriction or kink in the hose/s.
Make sure the tap/s are fully turned on, and that there is a good water prerssure.

I get a check water tap error 2 to 4 times a load

I have this problem. This code is due to restriction of water flow. In my case, we have sand in our water, and I have installed a filter between the water line and the washer. When it gets clogged, the flow is restricted and the Check Water Tap message appears. Your washer has filters on the back of the washer itself that may be clogged and need cleaning (which is why I installed the water filter between the washer & water line to prevent it from getting into the washer filter). Your washer manual shows you how to check/clean them. Also, you may have low water pressure during summer months due to lawn watering in your area that could cause this lower water pressure.

Hotpoint aquarious + flashing H 20 on display

H20 is indicating that you have no water coming in.
Check water is turned on,check hose(s) are not kinked, and finally check inlet valve.
If you are not sure if there is water to m/c, turn the tap off, disconnect the hose(s), and hold over sink and turn tap back on, water should come out, if it does not, then there is a prob with the supply.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
