Your handle can be purchased from Sears at the link below, part number 7 depending on your color and finish A - C for $36.18. You can also view the schematic for the door and based on the picture, you can see how to disassemble the door by removing screw (Part Number 8).

How do i replace fuse on kitchenaid microwave model YKHMS155L. I found the fuse behind keypad, but is is not accessible as it is jammed between fan and right wall

The outer cover of the microwave comes off when you remove the screws located at the bottom of each side and sometimes on the back. The fuse will be accessible then.
The entire cover will come off.

How do you take off a microwave door and put a new one on?

KHMS155LSS0 - May 27, 2017

On many models you can open the door all the way and gently lift it off.

Otherwise, you have to do some disassembly.

The support page for your model, with manuals, is here.

FixYa doesn't notify me when there's a response, so if you have other questions, please contact me directly.

I found the real fix to install a new handle on a KitchenAid Kitchenaid KHMS155LSS Microwave...none have been correct until I seen this posting...it works! Use this link to see the...

Here's my standard post on getting into the doors:

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

You can find handy exploded views and order parts by model number here.

Does a kitchenaid microwave have a fuse inside

Yes it does, unplug unit, remove back cover, "2 to 6 screws" on the right side look for a silver rectangular capacitor, discharge it across the two pins with a long screwdriver, next look for a ceramic fuse, "white body with silver ends" remove and replace with same type and rating. If the fuse blows again it indicates a bad door switch.

Keeps beeping shows F2

F2 means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

NOTE: If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and of course one should never leave a microwave unattended while cooking.

On these models, the membrane keypad is not available separately, so you'd have to order and replace the control panel frame, which comes with a new keypad already installed.

This is a simple do it yourself job.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Your actual model number from the tag weill be one of these: KHMS155LSS0 KHMS155LSS1 KHMS155LSS2 KHMS155LSS3 KHMS155LSS4

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Then you unplug the keypad (as per the photo below) and move the circuit board into your frame.

Kitchenaid microwave model KHMS155L, starts randomly for 3 minutes with "PAN" flashing on display screen, than locks up with "F-2" message on display screen

"F2" means you have a shorting membrane keypad. The "Pan Heat" key is shorting.

On these models, the membrane keypad is not available as a separate part, so you would have to order the control panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad.

In this case, you simply move your circuit board into the new frame. That is a simple do-it-yourself job.

Microwave

It sounds like there may be a blown fuse. The back of the mw oven will have to be removed to check. Some ovens only have a thermal fuse and not a traditional glass fuse. If that is the case you should call a technician to repair it unless you know how to use a soldering iron.
