SOURCE: Needle & Bobbin out of sync

This description sounds like the machine is out of time. The needle should match up with a cut out section in the bottom of the bobbin area. If it is hitting, the timing has slipped, probably from sewing on a fabric that was too heavy for the machine.

SOURCE: bobbin case case keeps jamming

I am having somewhat the same problem with the exception that my needle did not break. I've cleaned and oil, but the bobbin case and projection positioned spring is not communicating to allow sewing to continue. The thread keeps jamming and the bobbin raises up the plate. So, what else am I to do?

SOURCE: Singer Sewing Machine model 9224. Bobbin thread

If you turn the handwheel, can you see a metal ring rotating around the outer edge of the bobbin case? If not rotating, broken gear or timing belt off.
If that ring is turning, remove the needle plate and bobbin case. As this ring now rotates, you will a finger on the ring that will pass behind the needle from right to left and it should catch the thread from the eye of the needle. If this finger, the "hook" passes above the eye, you have a timing problem.

Let me know.

I have a necchi 4825 machine and the needle dthread is getting caught on the bobbin case as it goes around , why would this happen

One reason would be the holder that pushes against the bobbin is too tightly pushing against the bobbin. If it is much too tight it won't allow the thread to go past that point and get stuck. Another reason would be the bobbin case has a small cut on it. This must be smooth all the way around since the thread has to ride on it. The tension on the bobbin case should also be checked. If it is too tight it won't be able to extend the thread from the upper thread.

In my old but good elna sewing machine thread got stuck in bobbin case and it is jammed

Sometimes it helps to try to remove the needle and the bobbincase. If you can get the bobbincase loose, the thread nest can then be removed.

I have a "Brother CE5500PRW" machine. I have

1 - Make 100% sure you are threading the top thread correctly.
2 - Make sure your top tension is set at 5.
3 - Look in your book and make sure you have the black plastic bobbin case inserted 100% correctly.
4 - Remove the black plastic bobbin case and inspect it for burrs or needle damage, if so it needs to be replaced.

LS-1520 Brother sewing machine hook pick thread up takes it around half way and gets stuck...any ideas. the timing seems to be right??!!

try changing needles
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for loose thread or lint
make sure the bobbin is inserted into the bobbin case correctly--if the
machine won't pick the thread up from the bobbin correctly take the bobbin
out of the case & turn it around & try it that way.

My bobbin keeps bunching up. I've changed the tension to 2, taken the bobbin case out, used a different bobbin....I don't know what to do. My machine is a month old and I've used it, maybe 4...

Put the tension back up to about 5. Rethread the machine entirely, and make sure you have the pressure foot in the up position when you rethread. If your getting bunching on the bottom, it's probably your top thread that's bunching up. After you rethread, put a small piece of fabric under the pressure foot, lower the pressure foot, and turn the handwheel in the forward direction and watch the thread as it comes around the bobbin case. If it goes around smoothly, try it with the foot control. If it hangs up as it goes around the bobbin case, you might have a burr on the black plastic bobbin case. Take it out, check for any burrs, sand them down, and try again.

When I stitch the spool thread gets bunched underneath the cloth and get stuck underneath, please help

Check that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder. The bobbin tension adjustment is the small screw in the plate on the bobbin case that the thread passes under as it comes off the bobbin and goes out.

Thread is getting stuck around bobbin case in lower part of machine after 3 stiches. I have take the whole assembly apart several times and put it back together with no luck solving the problem.

Try turning your bobbin around, it may be facing the wrong way and it will get caught around the bobbin casing. I had that problem until I turned it around, just the bobbin in the case not the case.

Top thread won't catch the bobbin thread

First check the upper and lower tension adjustments according to link below and then check the knob (bobbin case) that makes the bobbin tension which lies inside the shuttle if it is too loose. Restricted it with the sheet metals around it so that it shouldn't move so freely up and down or back and forward. Be careful it should move freely a little but not too much.
