When I turn it on it just inclines and declines automatically

When I turn on my Nordictrack A2350 now it just starts inclining til it maxes out then it declines til it's maxed out.Does nothing else? Was working fine the day before?

If the incline moves but only just a bit, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. We remove the motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.

Observe as the main motor controller board has 90% of functions of the any treadmills. Now you will have powerful resultant and determine what is wrong.

This is conjecture but the incline motor is likely attached to a worm gear that lifts and then lowers the incline. There is also likely some kind of automatic "clutch" that disengages the motor from the worm drive after the raise or lower sequence is complete. If this clutch is broken or malfunctioning, then it may be trying to "grab" the worm gear when it is not supposed to (when not raising or lowering) or conversely, it may be losing its grip on the worm gear when the incline is happening. The clutch is likely controlled by an electric solenoid which may be malfunctioning. All this to say that it may be time to call a repair person.

How to recalibrate 8600 incline trainer

To initiate the calibration routine, hold down the SPEED +
button and the SPEED - button simultaneously for three seconds. During the calibration routine, the INCLINE
TRAINER will automatically rise to the highest incline level and then return to the lowest incline level.

Not incline or declining

I expect there is a limiter switch that tells the treadmill when it has reached its maximum elevation. The switch is probably either malfunctioning or broke.

My nordictrack c1500 treadmill does not incline. Brand new. However the motor can be heard working but without inclining

You need to call Icon ASAP and get a tech out under warranty to fix the issue.

Nordictrack T5.7 incline makes clicking noise while going up and down what could be the cause of the clicking noise ?

cleal the contacts relais, and replace if necessary. Of course your LUBE the gear and shaft too.Test the elevation motor for problem bearing for repair.

When starting my treadmill the incline just starts all by itself, all the way up, sounds like it would keep going if it could, then it declines, its stuck in this loop. the belt never starts and I cannot...

This sounds like the treadmill is running an incline calibration. It will run to fully inclined, then to minimum incline.
It should not do this every time you want to operate the machine, but they will do it automatically if the operation of the machine is stopped by the power being interrupted..

On my nordictrack a/2350 the incline stoped working what could be wrong?

Follow the instructions found in your manual for incline calibration first. With the safety key/magnet in, press incline up, remove the key while the numbers are changing, release the incline button then reinstall the safety key. The incline should calibrate.
If the motor moves, then stops b4 completing it's cycle, the incline sensor may be defective. The sensor is the black cap/wire coming out of the top of the motor. Make sure it is connected properly.
If the sensor is defective, you have to order the complete motor to repair the problem The sensor can be replaced without replacing the motor, but it is not available as a replacement part..

My nordic track treadmill won't decline

My wife had the same problem with her treadmill. I turned the beast on it's side, and unscrewed the plastic casing that houses the motor, computer, and all the electronics to the treadmill. I unplugged the incline/decline motor. Then on the bottom of the treadmill the long threaded rod that causes the incline needed to be moved. So I unbolted it from the catch, and manually screwed the rod back in with a wrench. Now the treadmill works fantastically, of course the incline/decline mechanism has been disabled, but I would rather have a treadmill with the incline disabled than have one always on 100% incline. I have a nordic track a2350,and the incline wont stay up.It beeps every 10 seconds and goes up then down .any tips

I've seen this problem several times, but many things can cause it. It's most likely the motor control board, but it could be a number of things. I'd have it looked at.
