Sandisk cruzer not playing music and videos on car stereo

I recently had a sony xav601 BT car stereo installed in my car. I also bought a sandisk cruzer to put music and videos on to play through car stereo but it doesn't seem to find it? I installed MediaGo on my computer as advised but there is no way of putting files onto the sandisk cruzer so i can play on my car stereo. Any solutions?

Turn the radio off then go into the menu and configure blue tooth and wifi to on.

with radio and device on set device to discoverable.
have radio scan for new devices and pair with code.

SOURCE: SANDISK

In an effort to inflate their bottom line many providers (can u say Verizon) "fix" the phone so that only files downloaded to the phone from their pay-for-Music site will go into the proper folder so that phone sees them. The trick then is to outsmart them by latching onto a hack that will allow u to get them into that folder.
This is especially true for ring tones.

Dowload codec Klite pack, via Google, and open the files with that media player, the tv should then pick it up, seeing as its a multi codec reader program, Hope it helps

SOURCE: bought 4gb sandisk cruzer flash drive stored music from computer but it won't play the music on the car fm transmitter

a flash drive is used mainly for storing of files, you need a device that will play the files you want, in this case a device that plays mp3s and either transfer your music to/through it.
Unless your transmitter states that it plays different media formats that is but i have never heard of that before.
hope this helps.

The sandisk flash memory drive i bought had 1 threat on it, so i format it..I then loaded songs on it but could not play on my car mp3 player

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Hello I bought 3 x 2gb cruzer usb sticks to run music on my sony hi fi they are not recognised..do they need formatting?

You could format them yes, but sometimes the device will not recognize certain memory sticks. You could call sony and see if those are supported USB sticks.

Sandisk u3 cruzer micro usb device stopped playing when put in car stereo. It was playing fine but now nothing my car stereo say's it's reading the device but thats it

You might try plugging it back into your computer, and formatting it. If you don't know how to do that, pull up the screen right BEFORE you would open it to copy music to it, right click on the flash drive, and click format. Format it with whatever the default format is shown (probably FAT32) and then copy your music back onto it. If that doesn't work, let me know.

Sandisk flash drive

Is the account that your tying to access the drive with an Administrator account? If not, Log in as Administrator and try to access the new drive. If you ARE using Administrator privileges on the vista machine, the problem lies in the U3 smart driver. Try downloading and installing the drivers for the XP SP2 os on scan disks website, If vista rejects the install package off of the scan disk website, let me know and i'll extract the drivers and build an install for them for you.
