We have an LG dishwasher model #LG LDF7811ST and we keep getting that LE error message also. We found on this site that it could mean our main pump motor is bad. My husband checked to make sure nothing was stuck in there and it was clear. We were hoping someone could please tell us a part number or what the part is called that we would need to order. Or even possibly a good place we could order it from.

Well LE means locked motor, this seems to be a very common problem withe these dishwashers.
Possible Cause For Error Occurrence: Wiring connection is OK? The Impeller of Washing Pump is locked. The rotor of Washing Motor is locked. The Blade is locked.
Anyway the LE error code is not all-ways indicative of a motor problem. There are also strong chances of any lose connection (wire), so first you can simply unscrew the front door panel from the retaining screws on the inside of the perimeter of the door. Once the screws are removed pull down and out to remove the door panel. Remove the sound insulating material and you will see several wires routed from the contol panel the length of the door to underneath the unit. Inspect the wires thoroughly. Near the bottom is where the pinching can take place. There are two gray wires and if you have been getting the "LE" error code, one of those wires is most likely broken or pinched. Splice, reconnect, solder or tape.......
Please follow the below link for more information (the link contain service manual, you can check the page number 25) -
Empty water from inside the machine and try tripping the circuit breaker for a couple of minutes.
If that does no clear the error , then one of the following faults may have ocurred:
Wiring connection broken either bad connector on pump side or on timer control side, or faulty wiring harness. The hose connected to impeller, or the impeller itself is blocked. Motor or pump locked. Faulty timer board.
Are you sure it's 1E and not LE error code?? The symptoms you mentioned indicates that it is an LE error code and the motor has an issue. You will need to call a qualified LG technician to diagnose and resolve the problem.
You've done every thing the way I would of done it but check the float switch it is located in the front of the tub near the door if this is open it wont allow power to go to the solenoid see if your getting power across this switch and let me know what you find out god luck
