Nexus 7 (Christmas gift) so barely a month old, was set on charge after running very low and now will not switch on. Have tried holding down volume button while trying to switch on, as suggested on google search. This has worked in the past but nothing happening now. Wee boy is cracking up! PLEASE help! Thank you.
I believe the only way to reset your password would be a hard reset. This will also remove all of data and return the device back to the original factory settings. Reset your Nexus device to factory settings

If your Azpen A700 tablet won't charge or come on, you got no result trying to reset it, you've got only one option: take it back to the shop where you bought it and ask for authorized repair service, to diagnose cause of failure You even may have still option to warranty service. Problem is that it's a low cost 35$ tablet so repair service might not be worth to pay, looks rather as a disposable device..
Plug it in to give it a full charge. Push the on/off button and hold it in until it turns on. It may take about a minute. I had the same problem with my Nexus 7 because I let the battery get too low and it would not turn on.
I bought a kurio 7 thinking it'll be a great Christmas gift but its worthless if it wont charge...Ive read the DC plug doesnt seat well and so you have to put it in firmly...did that. It came outta the box with an 88% charge and is now down to 32%. Then I read you could use the USB to charge...trying that but not hopeful. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? I NEED TO CHARGE THIS THING. Thank you!!
You may want to try and do a hard reset/reboot which will hopefully bring the Nexus 7 back to life.
Press the power button and both volume keys for several seconds. The computer screen will eventually blink off. Continue to hold until you see the Android recovery logo and the large Start selection at the top of the screen.
Move the volume keys up and down to see the menu selections. If you don't want to factory reset, you can try to Power down or to Restart bootloader from these selections. The power key will select the option.
