I just did some serious searching to answer your question, and have come to the conclusion that you will need to start in South Africa for your answers.
South Africa was the only place I found any names of such a machine.

first off---- have you put oil in the sump to the correct level there is a low oil lever switch which will not allow spark if the oil is not there or is too low to safely run the engine
next fill the tank with the correct type of fuel
turn on the fuel tap under the tank
put the choke lever pull in the choke position
switch on the ignition switch
pull the starter cord
when it fires push in or remove the choke action
basically read the user manual that came with the genset

The Stramm safe we have is a small one that we use to store keys for our drivers. To change the combination, open the safe with the current combination. Sorry, can't help you if you don't know that. Inside the door is a plastic panel covering the batteries. Pinch the plastic catch at the top and open the panel. There is a small red button which you can press to change the combination. When you press it, you will hear a double beep. Enter your desired new combination. The trick is that the last digit must be either an "A" or a "B" which signals the end of your combination. For example, if you want your new combination to be 123456, you can't do that. The closest you can come is 123456A or 123456B. Hope this helps. Steve, Mbeya, Tanzania
