SOURCE: Canon SD 1000 time and date stamp on downloaded photo

You can download the manual from the link below: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=323&modelid=14901 From page 37 of the manual it looks like you can only select the time stamp in "postcard" mode. Also the date & time need to be set in the camera first. Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

You need to get a Sony 1500 deck. It can retrieve your time & date stamp if you choose to record it.

SOURCE: Date stamp

In order to use the date stamp option, the image size (L, M1, M2, M3, S, Postcard) has to be set to Postcard. Press the Func/Set button, scroll down to the image size icon (lower left corner), then scroll over to Postcard, and press the Func/Set button again.

SOURCE: Canon SD 1000 time and date stamp on downloaded photo

Set the resolution to PostageCard (1600x1200).
Many of these cameras have only ONE RESOLUTION setting which allows you to have a date/ date and time stamp on the file, which will print on the viewed or printed photo.

How to do it:
Turn the camera on M mode.
Use the func. set.
go down the menu to the resolution settings. (on the bottom of menu).
Pick only the postagecard (1600x1200) setting.

I also was like you, and had an awful time with a camera I was fixing. I then looked it up on the Net and found an online user manual for the Canon SD 500, which should be basically the same.

Stevens model 311a,where is the serial number. I can not find one.

All the Stevens factory guns made from 1948 till the passage of the Gun Control Act (requiring serial numbers) had a date code roughly stamped on the center bottom of the action either just in front of the trigger guard or just behind the hinge. The stamp is a letter for the year and a number for the month of manufacture, stamped inside of a circle or oval. "A" represents 1948 and each succeeding alphabet letter represents the next year. "O" and "Q" were not used.

I don't know what the letter codes on the action flats mean. The 311A is a model number; there were several letters used with the number 311 to identify the various small changes in the gun over the many years of production..

How do I get the date and time stamp off my Polaroid i733 digital camera?

You should have a menu on the camera, mine, which is a Kodak Easyshare C533, has a button on the back to access the camera menu, not sure about other cams but I think there should one on all cams, you can turn off the date/time stamp thru the menu and also alter other settings. Hope that helps you.

TZ 5 not TZ50! Date stamp.

I have the same camera and the only way to do this is to first, Make sure you have set the date and time correctly on your camera. Take a picture or, view picture you want date & time stamped. Press the circular 'Menu/Set' button. Press down arrow to playback mode. Press right arrow on 'text stamp'. Choose whether to apply stamp to single or multiple photos. Press 'Menu/set' to select photo to stamp. Choose which stamps to add. Date, time, age etc.. Press 'Menu/set' again and select 'Yes' in box. The only problem with this is that it will resize your photos to 3m, which can make them grainier if you took them at a higher res. Gillian

Cannot turn date stamp off and date keeps resetting

Try removing battery from camera then wait 10 seconds before installing. This action resets camera.

If no work, locate your camera software version. Procedure should be in manual, else could probably find it in a google search. Then locate latest version with a google search, or panasonic camera website, or call to customer service and ask.

It you do not have latest version, ask customer service how to download it.
