SOURCE: When I turn my printer

Hi, I am Steve, lets help solve your problem.
From your description it sounds like the imaging unit needs replacing. Here is a link to the service manual - I would double check that before buying one as they are very expensive.
You need to look up troubleshooting, indicator messages.

Good Morning i have a xerox 3100mfp its sowing me a printer error FUSER tEMP

Maybe try this, it woks on Sagem that also produces xerox mfp...

Follow the keystrokes set out below, do not worry about what is on the display unless stated to check. All letters referred to are for the keys on the alpha key pad to the right of the control panel, under the plastic flap.

1st option: Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop (red button),
Press down arrow, #, T.
The machine returns to the error code. Switch the machine off for 10 seconds, switch
back on. If successful the machine will warm up and come ready.
Press down arrow, *, #, 0 (ZERO), ok, stop.

2nd option
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop.
Press down arrow, #, look on the display, press up arrow until "T>>PRINTER" is
displayed. Press ok. The machine returns to the error code. Switch the machine off for 10
seconds, switch it back on. If successful the machine will warm up and come ready.
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 0 (ZERO), ok, stop.
If this is a recurring problem the firmware on the board may need to be upgraded, or there
is a physical fault with the fuser unit. Low voltage / power surges in the supply power to
the machine may also play a part in the occurrence of the error.
The firmware needs to be version 1.10.

To check the firmware version do the following:
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop.
Press down arrow, *, W
Firmware version is displayed. Press stop to clear screen.
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 0 (ZERO), ok, stop.
5401:
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop
Press *
The trace lists will be printed, firmware version is after PRT, as in example below.
In this example, the printer firmware is: PRT V 1.5
It is older than V 1.10 and the printer firmware need to be upgraded.njk

! light flashing... machine won't brew coffee - when i press the button to make espresso nothing happens.. I've tried all the troubleshooting options - nothing works.

The machine is sensing one of the following is not properly fitted in.
Check bean lid, brewing unit is properly latch in, dreg drawer and tray is in, and water tank. And make sure the knob is in off position. If all those are properly in ..the green light will start flashing and warming up. When it reaches the working temperature it will start rinsing and it's ready to use.

XEROX WORKCENTRE M20 WHEN POWERING UP MACHINE IT WILL NOT COME OUT OF WARM UP MODE. FUSER IS HOT. MACHINE DISPLAY WILL SAY WARMING UP, MACHINE WILL CYCLE, SCANNER WILL MOVE , PRINTING WILL APPEAR ON...

what you want to do is this, turn the machine off. Remove the back cover. Then on the main board you should see a memory stick or 2 depending on the model.
Remove the memory sticks, then power up the machine with them out. Let it come to ready, then re install the memory sticks and power the machine back up to remove any software corruption.

Will not print

It was a warm up problem. When the machine is down for an extended period, it takes about 10 minutes for it to warm up properly and the light will go off.

Will not print

Yeah thats an easy one. Your really out of toner, the density sensor is seeing a light development patch, and the firmware ( machine operating software) does not have a clue what to do.
I suspect, ohhhh about 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999 percent sure if you replace the toner cartridge your machine will warm up, set up in a minute or 2 and run like normal.
I have seen that time and again on that machine, The software sometimes simply doesnt know what to do with a light copy indication.
The out of toner sensor is a window type sensor, so if there is a little remaining toner on the sensor, yet the density sensor looking at the patch on the drum is light, the software has no clue what to do, so the machine runs, and runs, and runs, and runs...... A new toner cartridge is a almost 1000000000000000000000000000000000 percent fix.

Machine stops and F6 appears

Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.
  1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
  2. Find the button below the word Auto.
  3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step 3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.
  4. Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
  5. Press the green [Start] button.
  6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
  7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
  8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.
elem_1_spacer.gifGive this a try, the code is a fuser not warming code. This could resolve it.
