Need help finding password

You need to reset it to factory default by pressing the reset button for around 5 seconds. Once it is reset, the username and password is admin/admin.

Or if you are a careful guy, you have backup your configuration in your PC, there is a software to read the configuration and extract the password for you.

Good luck

Expand range extender

You can install a wireless range extender. Try a Netgear Dual Band WiFi Range Extender, this device extends the wireless range of your existing wireless router, it connects to your wireless router using a wireless connection without the need of a LAN cable.

Cannot ping my router?

First check the all connection, your LAN connector .

Then Go to My Network Places and right click and select properties. Highlight your connection and look in the lower left at the Details information. Does the address look appropriate for your network, and does it say Assigned by DHCP or something else.

otherwise you should contact internet provider..

Disable Nat TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND

yeap it should be the firewall, here is the manual http://www.tp-link.com/resources/software/201161017075118.pdf
think this should help you.
But if you want my expertise, make the tp-link as a router and vdsl just the internet line. connect it to router wan and buy a switch for all your devices. That should be the safest and smartest way.
