Hi Bought this TV combi last week...nightmare!!! L22DP03U First of all...tv doesnt connect to sky remote as the code is not listed on sky...telephoned sky they said contact hitachi...rang them said not their problem contracted out to third party may never be on sky code. Now connected to the remote but no sound from sky remote so have ti use hitachi remote for sound! Second ...put a DVD in to watch last night said wron region...checked on DVD case (bought from HMV) no problem says region 2... tried again no joy! Tonight tried another DVD same problem TV combi says wrong region. Read the manual til fed up with it. Internet for 2hours searching! www.hitachidigitalmedia.com website hopeless... no sign of this model...searched and searched... tried customer services..closed! Basically fed up with what I thought was a reputable make and so a good investment! Can you help to sort out my 2 problems please...aprt from return it to the store! Thankyou

Went to another store and was told Hitachi were doing a recall on all TVs (not too sure how reliable his information was though!)
So now back to the drawing board I guess to find an alternative at a good price!
Hitachi website not at all useful...the model I returned wasnt even listed! So I will be giving them a wide berth

Went to another store and was told Hitachi were doing a recall on all TVs (not too sure how reliable his information was though!)
So now back to the drawing board I guess to find an alternative at a good price!

I bought the same TV yesterday and I've used code 1065 to program my sky remote, which worked fine. It's thanks to the answer relating to Mitsubishi and TiVo cos I used a Mitsubishi code!! Hope it works for you.
just spoke to neon/cello and there is no remote code as of yet,they reckon sky are making a new remote with the codes listed in the memory so there is nothing we can do ......for now hope this helped
Hi Re Easytouch 42" HD TV - look for Hisense - I took a guess and LCD3204 EU code 376 - remote works but buttons don't tally up - getting there slowly!
Just bought a madeforyou 4:1 remote that is programmed on my PC.
You will need to go to Sky's website and order a new remote if this doesn't work.
Press tv on the remote press and hold Select and red until the remote LED blinks twice type in 0 0 6 0 press power button on the remote, if the tv goes off press select and it should control all the tv functions.
if the tv does not go off press tv then power buttons on the remote and keep doing this until the tv goes off, then press select once the tv goes off.
Like I said earlier, if this doesn't work you will need to order a new/replacement remote via Sky's website then put the code listed above in.
Check scart to tv is in the correct socket marked TV.
Try pressing services
then system setup
then picture settings.
Then try switching scart control to on or off.
If this sorts it great. If it doesnt check scart lead has all pins wired & not only A few.
