These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply circuit, check T603 and R672.
Have you set the output voltage correctly?

Flashing standby light is an error code that is specific, there would be pause of 3 seconds in flashing, so count pause to pause and let me know that how many times red standby light is blinking to diagnose problem.

Sounds like the lamp is bad. Might be time to replace the TV.

A 3 flash pattern indicates that either the lamp is not seated correctly or that the lamp door is not latched properly. It can also be a fault with the switches that sense whether the lamp is seated or the door is latched. Try reseating the lamp and relatching the lamp door

3 times flash of standby light shows that Lamp Cover is not mounted properly after replacement of Lamp.
Please fix lamp cover properly because cover has to press protection switch in circuit.
