I load a document into the slot like im about to fax it, it says document loaded. I hit the number then fax, it says storing page1 but wont feed it through. then the "document feeder mispick" comes up

What model are you referring to? In general. When you load a document you get a beep and the screen will change waiting for you to enter the fax number. If this does not happen then the document detect sensor is not being activated so the machine does not know there is a doc on it. Open the document cover and look for a long black arm hanging down or standing up. Make sure it moves. There will be two other sensors also with black arms . make sure they are also free to move. If they are sticking then investigate as to why. use NO lubricants. just clean.

you have to select the paper size from the computer while giving printout from computer and apply the changes you make.and while copying the page from the scanner you have to change the printersettings by clicking the menu button in the printer.

To send a basic fax (single- or multiple-page black-and-white fax) by using the control panel.These features allow you to control the pace of your dialing. They are also useful when you want to use a calling card to charge the call and you have to respond to tone prompts while dialing. NOTE: If you need printed confirmation that your faxes were successfully sent, enable fax confirmation before sending any faxes. TIP: You can also send a fax manually from a phone or by using monitor dialing.

Send a fax manually from a phone You can send a fax from a telephone on the same phone line if you prefer to use the keypad on your phone, instead of the keypad on the control panel of the device. You can do this by plugging in a phone into the 2-EXT port on the back of the device. When you send a fax manually, you can hear the dial tones, telephone prompts, or other sounds through the handset on your telephone. This makes it easy for you to use a calling card to send your fax. Depending on how the recipient has their fax machine set up, the recipient might answer the phone, or the fax machine might take the call. If a person answers the phone, you can speak with the recipient before sending the fax. If a fax machine answers the call, you can send the fax directly to the fax machine when you hear the fax tones from the receiving fax machine.

The telephone line is silent while the fax is transmitting. At this point, you can hang up the telephone. If you want to continue speaking with the recipient, remain on the line until the fax transmission is complete.

Send a fax using monitor dialing Monitor dialing allows you to dial a number from the control panel as you would dial a regular telephone. When you send a fax using monitor dialing, you can hear the dial tones, telephone prompts, or other sounds through the speakers on the device. This enables you to respond to prompts while dialing, as well as control the pace of your dialing. TIP: If you do not enter your calling card PIN fast enough, the device might start sending fax tones too soon and cause your PIN not to be recognized by the calling card service. If this is the case, you can create a speed dial entry to store the PIN for your calling card. NOTE: Make sure the volume is turned on, or you will not hear a dial tone. The reason why your mahcine shows telephone because it can't recognize the document that you loaded in.
Try to remove the document from the feeder and make sure that your mach shows date & time. Load the document again in the feeder and the display should show enter fax # & start, that's the time you need to dial the fax # and hit the start key,

Is your paper right in slot with grey flap over top of paper feeding into slot.

Is there a piece of paper in the top (copier/fax) feed, or under the top against the glass? Original Loaded means there's some document in place, ready to be copied or faxed. If you remove that, the message should go away. If there isn't one, check inside the feed on top, and see if there's anything stuck in there that could be blocking the sensor.

try to open your fax machine ang check paper feed gear maybe 1teeth of gear is broken..or maybe your machine incountered feeding timing error.
