Check bunn.com for a free download of your model's manual.
You should contact your vendor for service.
*** the following is for information only. Service should be performed by a qualified tech.***
* Most Bunn grinders usually have an adjustment screw in the middle of the burr plate housing.
* LPG is under the bottom chute. It's hard to see and you may need a mirror. Take a stubby flat blade screw driver in the slot and turn as needed, but go a quarter turn at a time!
* G2/3 have a large dial with the grind sizes clearly marked out. There is an adjust/calibration screw in the center of the knob.
* G9 have a large bolt in the center of the burr with a slot that could fit a quarter coin in it. You must un tighten the locking nut to turn it. Make sure you lock it down again after the adjustment.
* Final; if there any loud noise or grinding metal sounds or the motor hums and stops. Then turn off grinder right away. Back off whatever you did last and try again. If it's still making noises then unplug and call your vendor for service.

SOURCE: don't know how to use Mr.Coffee IDS57 coffee grinder

Typically you load in the beans, replace the cover and then either press down on the entire cover or the black knob on the front of the cover. I would hold the lid down with your other hand just to be safe. Grind for about 4-6 seconds depending on how strong you like your coffee (the longer you grind the finer the coffee will be...this means STRONGER)

Hi
Your grinder adjustment ring inside has its tabs broken. Contact Baratza at 877-701-2021 and they should be able to help get a new one.

SOURCE: calibrate sm 90 coffee grinder burrs

Grinding setting is one simple operation but requires bit patience:

  1. Turn on your grinder and continue setting to fine while burrs are spinning, you stop when you hear metal to metal touch sound(burrs maximally closed finest grinding)
  2. From that point go back quarter of revolution and mark the spot where you stopped with marker to body of grinder and setting plate with one line
  3. Grind little amount of coffee only to fill one sector of dosser than test it at your machine (if it leaks too fast and with yellow color of cream you should go to more fine>><< if it does not leak from the filter holder or it leaks very slow you go to in opposite way.
  4. You test grinding few times bit after each reset of plate grind little amount and take that in one other pot (that will provide to have pure new granulation)
  5. After setting measure the grounded coffee that comes out from dosser it should be about 7 grams, better measurement you can get if you measure 10 doses in one place because you don't get never same amount from 6 sectors of dosser.

PS: the pump pressure of coffee machine should be from 8 to 10 bar and steam pressure should be from 1.1 to 1.5 bar> depends on type of coffees you use.

Blade will not spin

While I don't have this brand or model of grinder, (coffee beans, spices?), I use a small elec. grinder for grinding coffee beans and unless the grinder and cover or perfectly lined up and locked in place, it willnot grind, a safety feature. Check and make sure everything is lined up so it closed with all the lines in place and the grinder is also put into the lock position.

How to calibrate my Bunn grinder.

It would be easier to pick up the manual in the commercial section under products from bunn.com, rather than me explaining it.
You have to loosen the nut on the adjustment wheel, then pull out slightly and turn towards coarse a few numbers, then push back in and turn grinder on and slowly turn toward fine, until the burrs slightly touch, you will hear a little metal on metal, at that point turn the grinder off, back off about slightly, then pull out adjuster and turn it to Turkish and tighten screw.

Incanto sirius states grinder blocked. Took apart

I own a Saeco Incanto Deluxe. It employs the ceramic grinder that has worked flawlessly for 3-4 years. One day it stopped and "Grinder Blocked" appeared. I removed the entire grinder unit, cleaned it thoroughly and calibrated the grinder. This did not fix the problem. After many similar attempts, I found the entire grinder assembly (motor, grinder etc.) online for $149.00. Install of the new assembly took me five minutes and it works perfectly. Please note that the ceramic grinding blades (there are two round ones that must be aligned corrrectly) cost $40 a piece (same site where I found the entire assembly for $149). My suggestion--save yourself the agony and replace the assembly if cleaning and calibration fails.
