Xm radio I'm trying to install my new Delphi Xpress RC radio, with the regular antenna, and the SureConnnect hooked up I receive the XM signal on my Xpress Radio, the trouble is after setting the FM station ( many stations) it only plays in my driveway, once I start to drive the FM will not work, It still shows that the RC radio is still receiving the signal. I'm getting ready to cancel my XM subscription.

The back light on my Delphi Xpress RC went out.Can that problem be repaired? If so,by whom?Where?Cost?

You can buy a new LCD on ebay and just install it. Or you can solder a new backlight onto the old LCD.

My Delphi Roady XT receiver will not maintain the signal. Does not work even I replaced the antenna. Works for a about 5 minutes before losing the signal

I had the same problem with my xt two years ago. I had two other roadys' at the time and they both worked with that antenna so I called xm customer service explained what was happening and they sent me a new receiver for $10. They told me that those units aren't worth trying to repair. Maybe you'll have the same luck I did. Give em a shout. Good luck.

Delphi SKYFi3 XM Radio Repeater

You begin by setting up your existing (((XM))) antenna the one that came in your home kit (not included in repeater package) in a location that gets good reception of the (((XM))) signal. This may be outside, or on a south facing window sill. This antenna gets plugged into the rear of the Delphi (((XM))) Radio Signal Repeater Transmitter. A power jack is right next to the antenna connection, and should be plugged in and to the wall with the included power supply. There is also a "PWR OUT" selector switch on the rear of the unit which allows you to control the strength of the signal transmitted from the unit.

Once the power and antenna are attached, both blue indicator lights will light up on the face of the unit. The blue antenna indicator will light up only to signify that the antenna is attached correctly. It does not let you know whether your antenna is in a location receiving a good (((XM))) signal or not. You will have to look at the signal strength indicator on your (((XM))) radio receiver do determine best location for the (((XM))) antenna.

Once you have this setup, place the Repeater Antenna close to your existing (((XM))) Radio and plug it into your antenna jack on the (((XM))) radio cradle. This connector is identical to your (((XM))) Home Antenna provided with all Boom boxes and (((XM))) home receivers and kits so compatibility is guaranteed. The Repeater Receiver Antenna does not require any separate power connections. Hope this helps!

The remote does not turn on the Delphi XM Xpress on car unit

This problem is caused due to the fact that xm has designed there radios to completely shut off all power with the unit therefore the unit once off will not be able to recieve information from the remote. This manufacturing defect was confirmed by the xm representative, they also explained that the company is currently planning to fix this issue on the new 2009 model xpress rc

New Delphi installation over older delphi car kit

Just installed the xpress RC in my Durango, replacing my SKYFi2. Both units are Delphi (all of the newer xpress RC's are made by Audiovox now, but Amazon sent me the Delphi made unit). Everything swapped out with the exception of the 12dc power cord. Had to use the one included in the new unit, plug size that goes in the new cradle for the RC is different. In the new unit I did get two "user guides" in Spanish and none in English (I wish America would adopt one friggin standard language. English) but other than that it was quick and painless.

Cannot Get Antenna To Pick-Up Signal

If your roadyxt came in a red box then you need to hook up the XM SureConnect to your vehicles antenna. The instructions that come with it are simple and straight forward. Your FM transmitter will not work unless you hook up the sureconnect
