See the block diagram that I did for you. Now you will see how many elements or component has the treadmills. If the fuse or breaker are trips. you must inspect and test: 1) Power cord some internal wires is touching insider and produce short-circuit. 2)Capacitor in short 3) Coil or transformer in short 4) Main Motor in short 5) Main Controller Board.

Finally see for any wire is loose and touch the chassis from the machine in that case produce a BIG SHORT. sincerely.

You need to replace the carbon brushes on the motor. If this doesn't work then you will need to replace the motor itself

Check the motor capacitors. Wash cycle and run cycle capacitors are different in some m/cs.If these are OK motor winding to be checked.

Now it is ten years old and you are likely to get ball bearing problem. Get an repair estimate and decide which suits your budget.
