I have a new AT&T (Motorola) box and need to program my new Philips HTS3372D DVD/Theater system to it but none of the codes or automatic search recognize it.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

What is needed is a multimeter and a screw driver to open the set. Check the continuity of the cord wire to the set, check through the fuse and check the power supply. If there is no power to the main panel then the power supply must be checked. If not the processor section can be faulty. Check the 5 volt rail to the processor.

Why not? Standard audio connections can exist exist on PC's. What doess YOUR soundcard support? Follow the manual. Web search "connecting audio to PC"

If you have a remote have you tried that?

Check to see if the eject bay is jammed, all you need is a flathead screwdriver and a flash light, just pry it open a little bit, if its a minor jam it should slide out.

IF the bay power has shorted it will need to be replaced which can be difficult and pricey, If its an older model however I think it is just stuck, just give it a little pry and see if it comes free, my old philips dvd player does the same thing on a consistent basis, it just needs a little prod.

sometimes directv remotes do not work with surround dvd players. Try doing an automatic code search . Most of the time it will only allow you to power the dvd player and operate the volume.

I have the same problem. The only time that I can get it to work is whenever I turn on the cable box the home theater system turns on too. When I use the DVR it will turn it on too and want to play the CD/DVD. I have a Comcast Motorola DCH3416 DVR box.

the remote has too small buttons. Is there a universal remote available with larger buttons ?????
