DeLonghi Magnifica 3300 Espresso Machine water leaks

Does it leak all the time, or only when it's running? If it leaks all the time, it's got to do with the water tank, the valve or the tubing from the water tank to the machine.
Anyway you need to open it up and check where the leak comes from.

The cause can be as simple as a clamp or a tube being loose, or maybe something more complicated. Many times people think that the cause of the problem has to be dramatic, when in fact it is something simple and inexpensive to fix. But they'll still think that it has to be a big, expensive or unfixable problem. Even if so many times it is not the case.

Take the time to put the different screws and fittings in order, so you can remember how to put the cover and parts back together. Don't hesitate to take pictures as memory aids.

You can go check on YouTube for videos on similar models. Sometimes you can find diagrams of a machine on the Web.

Location of a water leak from your automatic

A good way to indicate where a water leak is coming from is to put an old Newspaper under the machine this will show instantly at what area the water is leaking from saving repair time........

Water leaking on fast spin

hi Eamon.
this is what i found from the internet.
Washing machine leaks on spin Last updated on February 6th, 2017
Sometimes a washing machine leaks on spin, but not before. If this is the case, either it's going into spin with too much water inside, or something may only be leaking under the pressure and tub movement caused by spinning.
If you can see water running out of the soap drawer during spin it's probably gone into spin without pumping the water away properly. If it wasn't pumping water out at all it would not go into spin, but a partial obstruction can reduce the flow enough to allow a spin with the water unable to escape fast enough. This causes water to be forced up into the drawer or out of the steam vent at the back. If you suspect this check the last section of this article - Washer leaks from drawer
If water is coming from underneath when it spins then it's more likely to be caused by something leaking only under pressure. Check the door seal all around inside for slits and small holes, especially higher up, which may only open up and let water out when the washer is bouncing around on spin.
Other possible causes are hoses inside the machine which have small holes which open up during spin or which leak where they connect to the tub under spin conditions. These type of leaks often leave tell-tale rust or dry detergent marks. After that there could be a crack or small hole high up in the plastic outer tub which only gets exposed to water when it's forced around the tub during spin.
You are looking for something that is moving and allowing water out when the tub bounces around under load, or something high letting water out when it gets thrashed around the top half of the machine on spin. If you can't see anything obvious get a washing machine engineer

Water leaking under the machine

Take a look at the little spout area that pours into the water tray. It can get clogged with coffee grounds. This was our solution with one machine. But with another, the water was actually leaking out the back and was the result of a dying boiler assembly.

Saeco Vienna machine...after brewing a couple of cups of coffee, water leaks from somewhere and comes out underneath the front grilled tray and onto the counter. Can I do the repair with the proper parts?

Depending on your ability to do some technical and minutious manual work, unmounting and remounting the machine is feasable.

Concerning the leaking, what I've seen most is a leak from the seal under the water tank. Any leaks coming form there would occur even though no coffee would be dispensed. (i.e: Idle mode)

If leak is ONLY occurring when brewing cofee, I would check the following:

1- Check if the water inlet on the back of the brew unit is filled with residue (the inlet looks like the end of a smoke pipe)

2-Open the machine, take out the interior, and verify the water tubes coming in and out of the boiler. They both should be sealed with 2 small o-rings. After time, o-ring tend to expand under heat and may start to leak.

Hope this helps

Water leaking from under washing machine. Took off cover. Hoses ans water pump look good. Seems water is leaking on spin cycle above the transmission.

90% of the time the water leaks from either the drain pump module or motor, or through the centre seal and bearing.Couple of not so common areas are the various pipes:small holes in the drum:the soap dish etc. Possibly remove the lid and place the washer on 4 bricks and then run the machine so you can pinpoint the area.

Water leaking under the tank

If the water is coming from under the cold water tank on the back of the machine it probably the o-ring seal in the grey machine recepticle which is visable when you remove the tank for filling. This seals the tank to the machine body and over time can leak (mine has!!). You can get them from Gaggia UK in Halifax

Water leaking underneath when drying, whats the problem

Hello!
If leaks only on drying, then it might be the condensing system, maybe the fittings of the condenser on the drum got loosed. Remove the back panel and inspect after leaks on the left side where the condenser is.
