WHENEVER I TRIED TO INSTALL AUDIO DRIVER IN MY COMPAQ NX7300 A MESSAGE APPEARS WHICH SAYS THAT "HDA AUDIO DRIVER WAS NOT FOUND WHICH IS REQUIRED" AND THAT INSTALATION STOPS HOW SHOULD I INSTALL AUDIO DRIVER IN MY LAPTOP i downloaded adi soundmax high definition driver from internet,after the installation it's showing the displays a msg that HDA audio bus driver is missing and not found.help me out to get rid of this problem

go to your control panel click system then go to hardware manger devices look for sound if you see anything under sound click it and update driver if this dont fix it then remove the device from the list and go to add new hardware and try againg some time and old drive will cause the new drive to not install allway say no to seach for driver point computer to the location of the driver like c: or d: make sure the computer can find the driver to install

Why would he (note: "he" or "she", not "dear") rate you better when your solution has nothing to do with the problem? How is a system restore going to install the driver? It isn't.
First, make sure you've downloaded the correct driver for your model and operating system from HP's website, then run the install program. Try that then post back here and let me know what happens.
