The 3010CN is Manufactured by Dell, Inc. so no affiliation with Lexmark. I know this because 1, I am in the printer service business and I have a cross reference for just about every printer made. The 3010CN has no cross reference therefor it is Made by Dell. Second the CNET review of this printer states that the Manufacturer is Dell.
This links to the dell drivers for that printer. They only list 64bit server 2008. If you have a 32 bit version of server 2008, you can try the 32bit vista version of the driver.
The Dell 3010cn will connect fine with a standard USB cable to the port on your cpu. Just connect the USB cable up, connect the power cable to a socket and run the installation from the software cd.
If I remember correctly, there is a guide that allows the print to exit through the back of the machine or up, over and on the top of the machine. That guide may need to be clicked into place before the main back cover is shut.
Open the front door. On the right side of the printer a small door will open. Inside is the cleaning rod. Pull it all the way out and push it all the way back a good 20-30 times. Try again. See if that helps.
