Either the charger or the battery is faulty, from the sound of your fault description. If the tablet will turn on and run normally when the charger is plugged in, then the problem most likely lies with the battery. If it will not run even when the charger is on, then the charger is most likely the cause of the fault. If your tablet is still under warranty, either problem should be repaired free
It depends on what your charger is putting out, if you have a charger that puts out 1amp and a 6volt 4.5 amphour battery then it will take appox 4.5 hours, check the output on the sticker of the charger and make sure that it lists 6-7.2 volts, then if you can check the charger with a multimeter and make sure that its showing 6-7.2 volts

well... you could try and delete your cookies via ccleaner and see if that helps, you can download ccleaner from piriform.com. if that doesn't work, then i don't know, you may just want to google "free bob the builder Games" that might get you one you can download that your son can play over and over
try taking the battery unit out,the battery should have a plug that fits to the quad disconnect the battery from the quad. the square end of the battery lead should fit in the end of the charger.its not the quad you need to charge its the battery you need to charge,hope that helps
