They have them at vascumn cleaner outlet:

http://www.vacuum-outlet.com/belts/sharp.html

There is only one for all uprights made by sharp and another for the power nozzles.

Wow what's a vascumn? I need to slow down...maybe less coffee!

Outlet is much cheaper than Sharp. I have the same vacuum I buy them 4 or 5 at a time, as I live near a beach and sand eats the belts. Sears also sells them.

You can find this belt at www.vacbelts.com. They are usually cheapest and have $1.99 flat rate shipping.

I won't pick up dog hair. It seems to have plenty of suction when I detach the hose.

The reason it won't pick up is because the belt is worn. If the belt is stretched or worn it won't pick up well. Here is the belt you need for this model:

My Sharp EC-l2TWT4 throws belts and I noticed the motor shaft was not running straight. My wife took it to my local dealer in Brainerd,Mn and they said it was fine.So I took it apart and found the plastic...

I checked the schematics for that model and the motor housing for that model is no longer available. Your best bet is to either attempt to find a used part or trade it in and get a new unit. Sharp no longer makes any vacuums or parts which makes these almost obsolete because most of the parts are discontinued.let me know if you have any other questions or would like to talk about recommendations. thanks, chuck

Sharp ec-14twt6 won't start

if the motor spindle spins easily when turned by hand, the motor brushes need replacing. if it doesn't, either something is stuck in the turbine, or the motor is siezed. if the motor is siezed, it needs to be replaced.

My Sharp Vacuum, Model EC-S2365 just stopped working in the middle of vacuuming. I'm not sure what happened and I can't turn it back on. Any suggestions?

Just before it shut down were you pulling on the cord? For it to shut down like that it almost sounds like the electric cord has a break in it-probably at the plug

I need to replace the belt on my Sharp Vacuum Cleaner: Model ECTU4609. Can't find Owner's Manual and can't figure out how it goes on .

i have replaced vacumm belts before .. Normally it is located underneath..flip over the vacumm unscrew some screws.. open the cover..youll see a large roller pin type object remove it carefully noting how it is placed..pull it out.. and replace the belt...you can also clean off the debris while doing this..an added plus..for vacumm maintenace..
PLease indicate whether this has helped you at all ..Thank You

How can i keep the belt onmy sharp vacuum

If you have a rug that has tassles or open bits of "carpet tassles," this will injur ANY upright vacuum cleaner. Best way to vacuum a rug is to use a hose with a suction only floor head or small tool on the end.
