Camera sony makes a white line in the photo - Sony DSC-S930 Digital Camera

Electronic shutter in lens mechanism got bad and you need to replace complete lens assembly of DSC-S500 camera.
Of course new lens assembly would cost more then camera worth so best option is to buy new camera.

I think your camera chip is dying soon. Try taking a photo on a blank sheet of paper, black and white, see if there are lines. If there is, it shows that the camera chip is defective...

Your photo ink cartridge may be defective.

If you have the images in your computer them click on the 'Add image to your post' instruction and follow the prompts. But from what you tell me this appears to be a CCD problem and the camera should be returned to the vendor if under warranty or contact the Customer support at Nikon other wise. for the camera to be replaced

Your camera has a defective CCD imager. Please return the camera prepaid to Canon in New Jersey, they are replacing the CCD at no charge to the customer.
