White screen with sound and PIP works

Appears to be a power supply issue with everything being so dead.

Try going into set up menu and look for a screen degauzing function or try setting the screen temp. to warmer or cooler.

Unplug the TV. Replug in the TV. If it's still there, you probably have a bad panel. Try changing inputs. These panels are non-repairable.

Most likelly it is your DVR that has a problem. Their are a lot of issues with those DVR's from the cable or satellite companies. I would recomend swapping it out.

If the menu display isn't coming up either, then the odds are the power supply for the screen is the problem. Most manufactures call this a Backlight Inverter Board. Being that it's only 7 month old, it should still be under warranty by the manufacture. I would try to get it fixed by the warranty first if possible.

This just happened to me - I called Panasonic. Turns out it was my digital cable box - I unplugged it, turned in back on, and the sound was back.

Them main video processor driver board may have to be replaced. It is also possible that the power supply may have a fault.

The factory service tech will try the modules to test for which one has failed, and then leave in the module that fixes the fault.
