Why a low remain record time on zoom h1 handy recorder when .wav setting in use?

when you record in .wav format, the files ARE better quality, however, they are ALOT larger than a standard .mp3...if you can't tell the 'loss in quality', i would suggest to keep recording as .mp3...but if a .wav is preferred, then i would suggest upgrading the SD card. ..hope this helps.

How to change keys on a song on Zoom H4n handy Recorder

There is a realtek app for sound cards that will do that and karaoke, it comes on many laptops and desktops. Some cmedia cards use this same app with their driver. Search for and install it without the drivers and it works on lots of hardware. Not sure if it will work on that zoom but, I would definitely give it a try. I have used it on several systems including the one I am using at them moment. I have a copy of it but I don't have a link to it, though. It's called realtek HD audio manager, and has tabs that has effects, open tab and on the right top corner has karaoke voice removal and choice of key.

Make sure that the file format is the same, first. If so, try converting the format from wav. to a more recent format type, such as mp3, or mp4 if possible. This may help, as the computer may recognize it better depending on the program you are playing them with.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

MP3 is a compressed format so there MAY be some SLIGHT distortion in MP3. It should not be a significant level however. I would contact Zoom and get support from them regarding this problem.

When u export the track down too a wav.form and i convert it too mp3. if i listen too it in headphones i can only hear the vocals in the right earbud.

Well, did you run the vocals through a mixer and send to BOTH channels of the Lexicon Alpha? If you connect the mic to only one channel you will only get one channel UNLESS you process the .wav file and PAN the vocal channel into both channels when outputing to your MP3.

Go to bossbr.net - Plenty of answers there! And yes, you have to master or export the tracks to .mp3 or .wav. These files will be located in the mp3 folder. Boss also makes a free .wav converter located on their website.
