Xerox 242 fault code 042-326

I have a xerox docucolor 242 with an error/fault code 042-326. i need to locate the IBT silver patch/belt location on the printer to clean it

Error code 3-380 what does this mean

That error describes a number of things that can be foulty on your machine. First Did you recently replaced print cartridge (PC)? Couse if you did one thing that could be a problem is that you are using illegal or not original PC. Second thing that could make you some problem is IBT cleaner. IBT cleaner has two brushes on the each end of the assy. Their job is to clean silver patch on IBT. So maybe your IBT cleaner is worn out and those brushes doest do their job anymore or maybe the sensor that "reads" that patch is dirty

WASTE BASKET NEED CLEANING. AFTER CLEANING IT AND REPLACE IT THE MACHINE GIVES ME SYTEM FAULT 3-380

Waste basket? Do not know what you mean. 3-380 most likely dirty silver patch on IBT belt. Caused by bad drum{leaking}

Doc 12 3-380 error

There is a silver patch on what is called the ibt belt. If you take out the drum cartridge you can see it if you look in at about the 7 o'clock position. You need to take that belt out to clean it however. If your happy you can do that let me know

Doc 12 Error Code

You Have to Clean a litle square reflexive patch that is located on the IBT Belt.
Just remove the waste developer botle, turn the orange handle CCW, remove the 2 external screws of the IBT Assy and pull out the Transport drawer and IBT drawer. clean the patch reinstall and thats it.
