Volume button doesn't move volume up or down - Universal Remote Control MX-850 LCD Remote Control

If it isn't telling you to create a PIN, then you have a refurbed tablet.
Switch off or Turn off your tablet. Then, Press and Hold Volume Up + Power button until you will see Android reboot menu. Then, Press the Volume down button to select "Recovery mode" option. If you need to navigate to the "Recovery mode" option, use the Volume up button to move the arrow and the Volume down button to select it. Then you will see an Android robot image with a red exclamation mark and the words "No command." Next, While holding down the Power button, press the Volume up button and release it. Next, select option : "wipe data / factory reset" using Volume Down, and Power button to confirm operation. After that, choose option "yes" with Volume Down, to select and Power button to accept. Finally, press Power button to enter option " reboot system now ". Finally, Hard reset done on your tablet.

Hard Reset To hard reset your Visual Land Tablet, you need to follow the instructions below carefully.
1. Turn off the tablet.
2. Press and Hold Volume Up and Power button at the same time.
3. Keep holding the buttons till you see the start up screen.
4. Press Volume up five times when you see the android with an exclamation to reveal the recovery menu.
5. Since touch screen doesn`t work on this mode use Volume and down to move on the menu and power button to select.
6. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
7. Select Yes- Delete all user data.
8. After the wiping select Reboot System Now.

Try holding the Power button down for 5 seconds.
Try holding both the volume up and down buttons for 5 seconds.
Try holding both the Power and volume up buttons for 5 seconds.
Release when the screen appears. Move up and down with volume buttons and pwr button to select.

i think you want to ask if how to hard reset your galaxy young...just do this procedure ...

1. Power off phone
2. Press and hold Home Button ( middle ) + Volume Up + power on button
3. Wait for 5 second until Android System Recovery menu appear
4. There are 4 options

reboot system now
apply update from sdcar
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

5. Move the options to " Wipe data / factory reset " using volume down ( - ) button and menu button to confirm, because the touchscreen doesn't work in reovery mode
6. After the process done, phone will reboot.

if you did not remember your unlock pattern ,you cannot open your phone anymore so you need to reset your phone like this...

hi, make sure the face pins are clean; try resetting the unit; check to see if the feel of the down switch is the same as the up switch....if not then your down switch is faulty and needs to be replaced. confirm the volume down operation by using the remote control (if available), if it works then your problem lies with the switch or a broken connection between the switch pins and the face control circuit. cheers.

leave the phone on take the battery out this should reboot the phone

METHOD TO RESET GALAXY

STEP 1: Switch off your phone, remove its battery, and then place it back.

STEP 2: Now, hold the Volume Down button and Power button. And then release the Power button while still holding the Volume Down button.

STEP 3: Now you will get a list of options to choose from. Which would be like:

• Fastbook
• Recovery
• Clear Storage
• Simlock

STEP 4: There, choose the Clear Storage option.

NOTE: Use Volume UP and Volume Down keys for navigation and Power or Home button for selection.

STEP 5: Now confirm by pressing Volume Up button (YES) or Volume Down (NO).

Check for buttons on the side of the phone. There should be an up and down button to change the volume either way. If that doesn't work look for setting and then sounds. From there, it should be possible to find a way to change the volume of the ringtone.
