I have a Motorola i670 phone through Nextel. The direct connect works fine - can hear caller. Problem is when I get an incoming cellular call I can't hear the caller speaking.
Turn up the volume control. Don't have the manual in front of me but go into phone settings and look for the volume settings( not the ringer). Check in your manual, you'll find it.

incoming callers hear 'fax' like noises on the line, but I can hear the caller clearly. It's an intermittent issue
Motorola - Model# XT901....phone's sound features aren't working properly. can't hear the phone ring, incoming caller's voice and sometimes can't be heard when speaking to incoming caller.
