Stop the factory default beeping

I WOULD TRY UNPLUGGING YOUR APPLIANCE. TURN GAS COCK "OFF" (BY LAW THERE SHOULD BE ONE NO FARTHER THAN 6 FEET FROM YOUR STOVE) PLUG STOVE BACK IN. SEE IF IT MAKES THE SAME NOISES. IF IT DOES, CALL THE GAS COMPANY TO SEE IF YOU HAVE THE PROPER GAS PRESSURE GOING TO THE APPLIANCE. (SOME GAS COMPANY'S STILL WILL CHECK THIS AT NO CHARGE". NEVER TRY TO REPAIR ANY GAS OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES YOURSELF. FIND A LISCENSED APPIANCE REPAIR COMPANY IN YOUR AREA (SEE IF THEY ARE LISTED IN THE BBB AND HOW LONG IN BUISNESS) UN FORTUNATELY, ALL THE NEW APPLIANCES WITH ALL THE NEW "BELLS AND WHISTLES" ARE USELESS AND COSTLY TO REPAIR IN MOST CASES. DONT GET RIPPED OFF MAKE SURE THE REPAIR COMPANY IS CERTIFIED TO WORK ON YOUR MAKE AMD MODEL. Joe_Rex (New Member)

I hate to say it, but the touchpad or computer board needs to be replaced. VERY expensive...goodluck

• the codes depend on what version of stove you have, that is why i used a link to them.
• double check your wiring and make sure nothing is shorted out or wired incorrectly.
• all the burners share the same neutral wire so that is where i would look first.

Please send me your complete model number including that number at the end of the model number.
pull open the storage drawer and you will find a sticker down low on one side.

Mean while you may try unplugging the range for 5 minutes and that should reset the system if it is only a glitch!

check resistance at room temp if less than 500ohms replace rtd sensor probe.check for shorted sensor probe harnessbtween EOC and probe connector
