610 dam2 to km2

1 dam = 10 m =10 (1 km/ 1000 m) =1/100 km or 1dam =10^(-2) km.
In short 1dam = 10^(-2) km.
Now square the last equality. :
(1 dam)^2= (10^(-2))^2 km^2= 10^(-4) km^2 =0.0001 km^2.
Multiply by 610. You get
610 dam^2= 0.0610 km^2

How would you convert 40.32 km/hr to m/sec

There are 1000 m in a km and 3600 sec in an hr. Thus, multiplying 40.32 km/hr by 1000 m/km gives 40320 m/hr. Dividing this by 3600 sec/hr gives 11.2 m/sec.

Of course, the two operations can be done in the other order.

Some calculators have unit conversions built-in. Without knowing the make and model of your calculator, I can't tell you whether yours does so or not, let alone tell you the keystroke sequence to do it.

Show the work on doing convert 15.9 mm to its equivalent in km

You have got to try to remember (or learn) the prefixes used in physical units. Milli means 1/1000 or 10^-3. Kilo means 1000, or 10^3. To convert from mm to meters you have to divide by 1000 because a mm is a 1000 time smaller than a millimeter and 1 mm is 0.001 m or 10^-3 m.
To go from 1 m to 1 kilometer you have to divide again by 1000. So 1 m=10^-3 km=1 km/1000
I leave it to you to figure out how to go from mm to km. It is not difficult and you have got to learn a bit by doing your homework.
Use these two equalities
1 mm = 0.001 m
1 m = 0.001 km
So 15.9 mm =

A Krups KM7005 coffee maker/grinder doesn't heat or drip water .

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, grinding works fine, but no heat on the plate, and no dripping of water.

After a weekend on the workbench, I mastered this machine. The KM7005 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. To date, I have helped 13 people on this site fix this exact problem.

I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at [email protected].

Krups KM7005 coffeemaker/grinder does not heat or drip the water

The heating plate is actually your hot water heater for the unit and it has most likely failed. The water flows through the heating plate and heats the water for brewing. Krups replaced my whole coffee brewer.
