When I use my dryer the dryer does not get hot enough to dry my clothes. It feels like it gets warm but not hot enough to dry clothes. I have to run clothes through 2 cycles and even then some things are still damp. Any ideas or replacement part ideas?? take to many cycles to dry the clothes
The vent may be stopped up, or the vent hose crimped so the air cannot escape, you can check the air flow at the vent on the outside of the house while the dryer is running.
try cleaning the vent and the lint screen with a vacuum cleaner, you may need to replace the vent hose, this should solve the problem

If your element is operating and drawing about 20 amps when on, your problem may be the thermostat (temperature dial) or the moisture sensor (if applicable). My dryer has 2 heating elements.
