I have just bought a Lexar Multi-Use 16GB SDHC card to store GB's of photos. When transferring from the Verbatim TB to the SDHC card it tells me to remove the write protect. I have moved the white "toggle" from the one side to the other but with no effect. It is still write protected.
You can remove the right protection from the computer you use to create the right protection, if you want to use diferend computer that's impossible but same you can go to start and type CMD the comand prompt once the (CMD) folder will open, type (discpart) another (CMD) folder will open type list disc that is going to highlight all the disc on your computer or laptop, now type select disc and exact number of the flash drive if it's 1 2 or3 and hit enter it will select exact number with the flash drive, now attribute clear readonly and enter, now it will says attribute successfully, now type exit to see changes remove the flash drive and plug it back done

Are you using software that came with the reader? Maybe that is the problem. Are the correct drivers installed? Check the device manager and make sure it does not show a problem device. Are you using my computer and clicking on the removable device? Does the card work ok in other computers or devices? Is your computer only USB 1.0 and the card reader requres USB 2.0? Are the USB 2.0 drivers properly installed on your computer? Try removing the software and drivers, re-boot, and just install the drivers and not the software.
