I don't know the answer but I believe you should find a troubleshooter in the printer properties and maintenance section. It usually needs the right mouse button clicking to bring up the menu.
You need to check all the flags in the paper path to ensure that they move freely. It is pretty common that when removing a paper jam that these little flags get knocked out of position.
1. If you have a network and both of your printer and laptop are join the network, then your tablet will detect the printer when you add a printer in your laptop, 2. If you don't have a network (or you don't want one or both of them join the network), then you can connect the printer and the tablet using a USB cable. Later, you can change the port to the wifi port.
