I have had similar problems before but not with facebook. Login pages can disappear like smoke for no particular reason but mostly clearing cookies and a restart clears the problem.
You may have installed an add-on tool bar / search bar. Click on the 3 bars on Chrome (Custom and Control...). Then go to settings, then to Extensions and disable and remove any unwanted items. Setting also has the Search configuration that you can manage.
I take it, you're trying to access Yahoo on your computer and not your cell phone.
If you're on your computer, download the Google Chrome browser. Then, use it to access your Yahoo email account. Or, you can download the Firefox browser to see if that works better for you.
We've discovered that with some browsers (Internet Explorer) 'trip' Yahoo's servers security for some reason preventing access to email accounts.
I suggest that you download and install either Google Chrome or Firefox to use as your browser. After doing so, you should once again be able to easily access your Yahoo email account.
