It's easy, you can make it in your kitchen -- and it's better fuel than the petro-diesel the oil companies sell you. First, empty your fuel tank and pour a 2% fuel mix in it.
Remove the oil hoses coming to the carbs. Put the ends in 2 recipients.
Run the engine for a few minutes. Oil must come in the recipients. I couldn't find an exact quantity in the Service manuals.
The theoretical mix is 50:1 ( 50 liters fuel with 1 liter oil)
So, the best way is to have a full tank 50/1 fuel/oil mixture AND a full oil tank.
Sail a few hours, refuel ( count how many liter you've burned. Refill the oil tank to level.
Check that the fuel/oil ratio is about 50:1.
You can adjust the mixture with the cable on the oil pump.
Do you smell gasoline in the oil? If you do the diaphragm in the engine transfer pump is leaking. You have to determine why the oil level is rising in order to find the cause.
There is no fuel pump it is gravity feed.Make sure gas oil mix is right, check oil tank level, and check filter.if all are ok then you need to adjust the idler and fuel mix screw.
If the oil level is correct then you might be up for an oil pump. Some engines have an automatic cut-out for low oil pressure or high temperature as a safety mechanism to protect the engine from massive damage.
Need more input here iam afraid ,like make and model and where the leak is if the fuel is mixing with oil do not drive it could hydraulic or even worse run away with itself and just run till it blows up ,once it goes turning the key off will not stop the engine it will run on the sump oil mix and watch a con rod come through the block
I'm assuming this is a 4 cycle engine. If yes check the level of the oil in the crankcase - DON'T over fill, drain some out if over filled. If 2 cycle engine your oil mix is to rich. drain gas from tank and mix a fresh match of fuel with the proper amount of oil.
You run again the generator but before running, check & mark the oil level. Then stop the generator & wait until the oil settle to the bottom of oil pan. Check the oil level again & if the oil level is higher than the marking before that's means you have an engine gasket leak.You need to replace that gasket.
