I turned on my self cleaner oven this morning and it started beeping and flashing F1. The only way I could stop it was to push the cancel button which of course turned it off

Good Morning Monica, thank you for your post!

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire range is providing you with an error code of F1 after you started a self-cleaning. The error code "F1" stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the F1 error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. -Matt

BEEPING SHOWING F1

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire Range is displaying F1 as well as beeping. The F1 code means that there has been a key detected as pressed for a long period of time. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. While the power is off, wipe down the control panel. Sometimes even the slightest build-up on the control panel can cause this to happen. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

F1 error code on Dacor RSD30S. Code comes on for no apparent reason, range not in use. Hitting cancel no longer resets range, I have to pull fuses to stop beeping.

Hello,

The F1 error code means that a button on the touchpad is stuck and sometimes it could be resolved by clearing the code by pushing the cancel button, having done that and it no longer clears that F1 code the touchpad would need to be replaced to keeping it from beeping nonstop.

The part number for that touchpad is 82063B it could be picked up at your local appliance parts store or online at;

My amana gas stove keeps beeping and the code F1 is flashing?

Hi!
The F1 code means that the Key Pad is defective, the book says that if pressing CANCEL for 10 seconds don't stop the beeping and resets, the Pad should be replaced. I have learned that if you unplug the unit from the wall outlet for a couple of minutes, most of the time the pad will reset by itself.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Dacor oven beeps and shows F1 code

-F1- Alarm “System Watchdog Circuit”
The system will detect a failure in the internal watchdog element relay circuits and will activate a
cancel feature. F1 will be displayed in the time digits and will beep until the cancel button or another
function is selected. An F1 failure could be detected in cook or time of day mode. With an F1 failure
the ERC is picking up a command to supply heat without receiving an input from the membrane. The
watch dog circuit is designed to prevent this.
If the beep continues after pressing cancel check the main control (ERC)
Dacor
