My laptop has crashed many times and had to have it fixed but I need another code to get my lst machine and it says I have been E-mailed 3 I have but did not think to write it down infact it has crashed many times. May I pls. have another code for my machine Thanks

This is a complicated process and I advise you to be very cautious and carefully organize all screws and cables that you unplug in a clean and undisturbed area. Pay keen attention as to where cables are unplugged from so you can plug them in when hard drive is inserted. I must say proceed at your own risk because it might get frustrating if you are not careful and organized. First, turn over the laptop and loose all 7 screws on the perimeter of the laptop. Loose one screw in the middle and 2 on both sides of the battery (total 10 screws). Remove the battery, there are two clips there holding the keyboard. Release those and remove the keyboard and unplug main keyboard data cable from motherboard. Unplug the power switch cable, and the touchpad cable from m/board. Unscrew 3 screws from under the keyboard to remove the top cover of laptop. When that is removed you will see the hard drive in the bottom right. There are 3 screws holding the hdd to the system and 4 holding the enclosure that needs to be removed. Unplug the sata cable and use it for new sata hard drive. I hope you have had the patience to do this as this is a job for a technician. If you have succeeded, congratulations.

try an externial mon. if you have display. this could mean the inverter may be bad. try that and see if it works.

Check what video card you have.

• Go to start. Right click My computer. Click properties>hardware>device manager. Click the plus next to 'Display Adapters'.

• If you see Intel. Click this.
• If you see Nvidia. Click this.

Seems you have OS (first guess) problem so if you have recovery disk then insert it in DVD/CD driver and reboot your laptop.
And follow the instructions appeared on sreen and when you reach installation mode choose repair one if you wanna repair OS otherwise choose fresh Installation.
once you are done you should be good to go and if you have Hardware problems then your system will show the bugs on screen during installation period.
oh! if you have any external drives (Thumb drive, Ipod) plugged in then remove before you start above procedure because due to external drives also it happens if you dont have any plugged in external drives then follow the above procedure.
