The Sound has stopped working on my telly

if you have sound from the headphone jack the sound circuit is good--audio headphone jack when inserted cuts off internal speakers--it could be 3 days old and have a problem with the jack.

Hooked up a cd player to my 2005moms grand am but volume don't work? Why?

Check to make sure it is not manually muted, if that doesn't work make sure your speaker wires are connected properly in the back of the radio and speakers work also. If it is run through an amplifier, make sure the amp works and the speaker wires are connected properly too! Don't forget to check gain on the amp too!

Cant get sound

Hello,

This can often be as simple as the speakers being unplugged, plugged into the wrong jacks, or powered off, so don't overlook the obvious and check to be sure. Also check the volume controls in Windows or your application to see that they are turned up and not muted. When you are sure the volume is turned up, the speakers have power and are plugged in, and the speaker configuration is correctly identified in Windows (some audio hardware uses a proprietary mixer control for this job), you need to verify whether the problem is with the speakers or the sound card. Connect different known-good speakers and see whether they work. If they don't, the issue is in the sound card-possibly the configuration of the card is incorrect or the card itself is defective. The first thing to try is clearing the ESCD in the BIOS Setup. This essentially forces the plug-and-play routines to reconfigure the system, which can resolve any conflicts. If this doesn't help, try removing and reinstalling the sound card drivers. Finally, if that doesn't help, physically remove and replace the card from the system. You might try replacing it first in the same slot and then in a different slot because timing issues can sometimes exist from one slot to the next. If that doesn't work, you must try replacing the card. If the sound "card" really isn't a card but is integrated into the motherboard, first try the ESCD reset and driver re installation. Then, if that doesn't work, you have to try disabling the integrated sound and perhaps installing a replacement card.

I hope one of these solutions help.

3. Re install the audio drivers. LINK
4. If steps 1-3 don't work, then take your speaker to your friend's computer and see if it works there? if yes then something is wrong in your computer system, if no, then something is wrong in those devices.
Refer to this image below. From your speaker the 3.5mm jack should be plugged at back of I/O ports LINE OUT.

My hp laptop gone dump,it is not producing sound even through the headphone

* if you can connect to the internet, update your drivers using your drivers CD for the sound card. If you don't have driver CD, you can visit your manufacturer's support site and check for audio drivers.

I have a samsung 50 inch plama no audio....

Have you checked the connections to your speakers and if they are connected correctly from the TV and to the speakers. Also as it is only two months old the product should still be covered by its warranty so contact your supplier if you have no luck.

VRX755VD "triggered audio mute for cellular telephones"

Well, it sounds like you need a new output IC, which is what produces sound to the speakers.
