I have no error codes, but the copy comes out blank. I have replaced the tonor cartiridge, the old one still had tomer in it. Paper come sout of the copier warm. I do have the print down on the glass.

if its a inkjet printer it may be cartridge dried if ur not taking print out once in a week you may face this problem also u have not mention the model here

There are a few causes for smudges on page depending on the age and amount of copys the printer has done
1. Useing cheap refurbished tonor cartridges is the first.(try changing tonor )
2 Tonor has leaked into printer and is being picked up by paper as it passes through. (turn of printer and have a quick vacume where the tonor fits )
3 The most expensive one of the problems is the fuser unit has failed this usually mean you have done a high amount of copys and a replacement fuser unit is needed

It is problem in laser shutter, call service, cant help you over net is complicated

This is normally the corrona wire that needs to be replaced in the transfer unit and drum unit.

This type of fax is "toy" buy a laser fax an get rid of all your problems

Hello sir; I believe it is time for PM service, that means you need to replace drum, blade, developer, etc.

possible broken charging wires (corona wires) (chargeing wire) no charge on the drum will not pull developer or broken (transfer wire) will not pull image off drum resulting in blank copy

please press menu then start black copy (blue button) then fortimes arrow-up (tel.index). machine will switch to maintenance mode and all buttons will flash. press 8 then zero then severaltimes start black copy until error A1
will appear on the lcd. repeat pressing menu nine times and write down the error codes. Plz post them here again.
To leave the mode press stop then 9 then 9.

Sounds like the drum is worn out. Usually do 60-70K before replacement. Shading more noticeable at top of copy. Could also before worn upper fuser roller.

Does a page come out? just blank? How old is your cartridge, did you pull the tape out? Need more info to help.
