While watching the TV the power automatically cut out and the TV went off. The remote nor the power button on the front of the unit would turn it back on. If you push the power on button on the remote or the unit itself, a red light on the TV, next to the power button, will flash several times, but nothing else happens.
I unplugged the TV for approx. 1 minute and then tried it again. The unit came on for about 3 seconds and then shut off. Then the same thing happens where the remote or the unit power buttons will not do anything.
Any advise?

Check all power suply components
Unplug tv check the fuse and the rating on it,.see if filament inside is burnt
