Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
Press and hold the '*' key on the key pad, then press the '#' key and release them both. Then enter '123' to enter maintenance mode. Press the right arrow (beside the OK button) until System Config. menu appeared on panel. Then press OK two times to clear the error condition, then cancel two or three times to return to the top menu. Then powered off and back on, printed a test page just fine, copied a document fine.
My C7250 just did the same thing a couple of minutes ago. It works now but I'm not sure what did the trick. I put in a single sheet and pushed it with my finger. After a couple of tries doing this, it grabbed the paper and printed.
Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
NOTE:
The USB cable connects to the port on the back of the product. The port is labeled with the USB icon (
).

Remove the cartridges from the product.
Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges
' message to display on the control panel.
Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button (
).
Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.
Solution two: Service the product
If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.
