My t3882 does nothing when I press the power switch. Help!

If you can't get into the bios, you can't start a repair, when it's booting, continually press F2 to get the bios up, if that does nothing reboot an continualy press Del, this is for the bios menu and set the cd drive as first boot device.

If not continually press F8 on boot up this is safe mode, then when youre in highlight last known good configuration and press Enter.

Give this a try as your pc will not be set to boot from cdrom as default and will just try to boot into windows.

click on the link that say's audio.
it will download the audio drivers for you
double click on it and run the setup to install the audio drivers.
you may need to restart the computer before you can hear sound.

If the power supply has been installed and you still get no power at all, it is probably a processor issue, if the central processor is bad the unit will not power on at all

be specific, what do you mean by just stop. The power shut off, or it frooze, or the mouse froozen. But try to do this first. Try to remove or unplug the power chords from the power supply of your PC. Leave it in 5min. off. Put it back and try to turn it on. ok. All of the driver packages and manuals are here. Connecting the front panel LEDs and switches starts on the lower part of page 174 of the "NG3 Hardware Reference" PDF (download under "User Guides").

The pictures are black and white, and not as detailed as they should be, but you should be able to find the right connectors from them.

you have not set the cdrom as first boot device in the bios (press F2 or Del on boot up to get in bios), choose cd as first boot device, save settings and restart the pc with your cd in the drive and then when prompted press enter

there could be possible problems with ur smps... dat wil make it reboot frequently ,cos of low power supply to the board... anyway, first try to reinstall the os...
