Hey you guys. came here looking for a free stereo unlock code as my uk dealer wanted to charge me nearly 25 quid for the pleasure! nuts to that so... Well it turns out that if you go to the dealer that sold the car originally they keep a record of the original unit's unlock code and will give it to you gratis over the phone. that's more like it.
I have this problem almost everytime I have to do it. It's such a rare occasion. If I remember correctly, just press and hold the key that moves you to the next number... the >>| key, I believe. After a couple seconds it'll beep & open up (provided you have the correct code).

Can anyone help me to unlock my Acura Radio. I entered wrong radio code and it got locked up. Now it is not accepting the code (I got the unlock code from manual now). Someone told me to disconnect battery and try again, but it did not worked. Is there any way of clearing the lock??
I had the battery changed in my car and now the my cd player and radio wont work there is power to the main panel but seems nothing to the front plate .
