SOURCE: No power to Hitachi 61UWX10BA Projection TV. Have tried steps found in other blogs.

These set are good for having convergence amps go out, and also audio problems. So if your set had experienced color alignment problems, or sound problems this may tell you what is going on. There are codes for Hitachi, and it's in the LED lights that lights up when you plug in and then hit power button. Some LED lights up and goes off some stay on this tells a tech what is wrong, I use to have code but gotten away from Hitachi, but if you could safely tell me which ones maybe I can help further. Like I said, this set has had many problems with convergence amps going out. There are small fuses on the big board that do not look like the ones in powersupply. They usually say F001 or somthing to that sort. They sometimes can be yellow in color, but the problem is replacing without fixing problem will have it going out again. So hope this helps. and Read the threads here on sets like yours becaus the answer might be here already.

SOURCE: TV makes chirping sound and power button blinks, T.V. does not turn on

It is the lamp, you have to change the lamp, it's in the left side of the tv, have a litter compartiment, opened and take out two screw and take out the change and change it. you have to buy a new one. go to google.com and put the model of the tv and find the price of the lamp.

SOURCE: no picture or sound

Remove the rear panel. With the TV on you should see a red LED near the center of the PCB. There should also be 5 green leds, 3 to the left a 2 behind. If there is no red leds, check the fuses. If there are no green leds or maybe 1 or 2, disconect PSD5. It's a connector on the left side of the power board that connects to the audio board. It's the 3rd on fro the back. It's labled. With that disconected, turn on the set and look for the green leds. If all 5 light, the power supply is OK and you have a problem beyond that. If they don't all light you have a bad power supply.

How can I program my RCA universal remote to my element tv , what button to press for the light to blink and the code to put so it can work on my tv

RCA does not have for a code Element TV. With that being said there is a work around:
Turn on your TV.Then push the code search button until the LED still ,when the LED keeps on let go the button now push and release the TV button then push and release the power button until the TV goes off, when the TV turn off stop to push the off button now push the set button the code are already set on the remote control( you might have to push the off button almost 100 times or more until you get the right code for your TV. Best of Luck

TV worked fine for 12 years till this evening. When I push the power button there is an electronic clicking sound inside but the set will not turn on. The speaker still makes the quiet popping sound it...

The tv has a high voltage problem, sets that last ten years or more have come to the point where a new tv should be considered, because even if you fix it there is good chance something else will go wrong, remember the parts are twelve years old.

I have the same model and the same problem... I am told the power display board is is the issue and may need to replacing. New board costs around $80,or a bad capacitor depending on your paitence.

Suddenly no picture and no sound all three lights flashing

First make sure to hit the menu button on the TV's remote and if nothing is there then while the set is ON turn a bright flashlight on and shine at angle into the set push the TV menu button if you can see a image then your back light is not working.
Cost of backlights is around 150.00 and power supplies around 100.00.

Sony FWD50PX2/S 50 in. Plasma Television power problem

It does sound like a power supply problem but that can be misleading because a problem somewhere else in the TV can be "holding down" the power supply. This can usually be determined by using some isolation techniques.
