Cant install when i insert a cd rom game to my mac it doesnt open automatically... im not sure how to open it. When i click on the disc that shows up on the desktop it goes into a regular file like a document.. when i right click and click open with what should i choose to open so i can instal the game??

I would please like to tell you there is no button in MACBOOK to eject a tray as there is no tray.
You simply see a line on the right hand side of your laptop where you can insert a disc, u need to insert a disc into that part and when you insert it you will show you an icon on your desktop showing you the cd contents.
When you want to eject it keep in mind u need to click on the icon on your desktop and press the eject button or u can also use the keyboard and press the eject button, which will bring the disc out automatically.
Please do not worry try it, I'am sure it will work for you.

After inserting the disc a auto play should activate and a setup menu should be displayed. You can then install the game. You can also open the CD drive find and select setup or install from the files on the disc. After the game is installed you can insert the disc and a menu should come up and "play game" or something of the sort should be displayed.

your cd-rom is corrupted... you must have seen that your cd-rom is sometimes displayed in my computer...and sometimes not...
the only solution is install your windows vista again....

In the disk you should find a setup file or .exe file to install the game, the autorun file is just to tell the PC to run the file. Have a look for it

insert correct cd rom comes only in 2situations

1. if the software requires to start with the help of cd. try to start program with cd inserted in CD ROM
2. software is pirated. if it is pirated then in the cd there must be folder named "crack" in it. copy all the files of crack in program files of software

try clicking on the auto-run file in the CDs folder. if still you cant get it to auto-run or start installing clean the cd and make sure you have the install disc in not the play disc or the cinematic disc

1. Remove the disc from the drive.
2. Look at the top of the disc (or game box). Verify whether it is a CDROM or DVD-ROM.
3. If it is a DVD-ROM, verify the drive on your computer that you are inserting the disc into is capable of reading DVD-ROMs.
   
4. Go to My Computer and verify which drive letter is the drive you'll be inserting the disc into.
5. Insert the disc.
6. Wait 20 seconds. If the disc doesn't automatically start up, go to step 7.
7. Open My Computer and double click the drive containing the disc.
8. If My Computer now shows the disc contents, find the most likely ".exe" file and run it.

Your driver(s) may be corrupt. Try this. RIGHT click on MY COMPUTER from your desktop, select PROPERTIES from the drop down menu, select the HARDWARE tab, click on the DEVICE MANAGER button, click on the (+) by the DVD/CD-ROM DRIVES line, RIGHT click the drive that isn't working, (this part may sound scary) select the UNINSTALL option, click OK in the warning box, then restart your computer. On restart, WIndows will automatically detect the deleted DVD/CD-ROM drive and will install the appropriate non-corrupt driver(s). This should solve your problem. If not the drive may be defective.
