So far we use only with only dishwasher pacs automatic dishwasher detergent, and the glass cups were covered with "white fog.Should we use something else or can we use any detergent to clean the washdiser from inside. 2.What are the dishing daily use procedure and the preffered dishing program? Thank you
I agree. It sounds like hard water deposits. Many states have outlawed phosphate as an ingredient in dishwasher detergents, so the detergents don't work as well anymore. the problem is hard water. There is a new product out called The Dishwasher Filtration System. It filters the water going into your dishwasher leaving your dishes spot free with every load. It is very affordable and fits right under the sink. You will be amazed how sparkling your dishes look just after one load. You will love this product. Get it at www.dishwasherfilter.com.

are you using palmolive eco liquid detergent? if so - google "palmolive eco white residue" and you will find out that your detergent is the culprit. the solution is to use 1/2 cup of vinegar in your rinse cycle and soap dish and STOP USING PALMOLIVE ECO!

If Rylee's above solutions do not fix your problem the filters may indeed be the problem. Start by removing the lower spray arm. There is no need to remove the arm from what I'll call the "arm base/cover assembly"; keep it clipped on.At the center of the arm is a knurled screw. It looks like a thin disk with several bumps on it, about 2 inches in diameter. It will unscrew (lefty-loosy) and allow removal of the arm assembly. At quick glance it appears to be a molded part of the arm but that's a clever disguise. Making this part a different color would be too helpful. What else would the Maytag repairman do it they made it easy for the do-it yourselfer?
Anyway, after removing the spray arm take note (or photos) of the visible parts, i.e, spray nozzle, 2 split plastic spacers. Be sure you'll be able to return these to their proper position later.
Remove the six torx (star-shaped) screws and lift the impeller cover off. Again note/photograph the position of remaining parts, i.e. filter, impeller. You will likely find the filter clogged with debris. It can be pulled out. On my model it is retained in a groove and take a bit of force to remove. I used water pressure (sink sprayer) and a toothbrush to clean my filter.
Remove any debris from the sump/ drain area. Reassembly is reverse of installation. Be sure to flush out the arm assembly to unblock all holes before re-installing it.
I hope this helps.

Quit using the new Cascade. The formula change is what is causing the problem. No research from Cascade before releasing the product
