Just got yest./ salesperson said even though I now have wireless modem I could still use if I plug in which is no problem. However, I can't find a USB cable that fits. Please answer soon as u can so if I can't use it, I'll return tom. [email protected]

What I think she is talking about is, she is wanting to connect to the modem with a cat5 cable, if she has a wireless router the ports on the back are for cat5 , the Canon mg2500 comes with a USB cable which is fine if she has the old desktop computer.

You might have to uninstall the printer restart your computer then reinstall your printer
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to ports(COM&LPT) + to expand you should see a communication port and Ecp printer port you might see a yellow?question mark this will mean you need to install a new driver for this device right click you will have options to update driver,disable,uninstall or select properties again you will have the similiar options also you can troubleshoot the device

You cannot connected to a computer through Bluetooth. You can use their usb based bluetooth to connect the printer to other devices like your camera or camcorder.

You could purchase a ethernet print server which will allow you to connect your printer to the router via ethernet cable. I recommend the TPLink TL-PS110U. I use this for one of the printers in my office.

Alternatively, you could purchase the TPLink TL-WPS510U. This is a wireless print server. It will give you some freedom if you wish to locate your printer to somewhere other than beside your router.
