How do i get the software for the sony ic recorder icd-p620 for the computer I don't know how to transfer recordings from the unit to my computer

Transfer digital recording to computer to make CD

As there is no USB port on this IC Recorder, you can connect the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recorder Software to capture the files. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software preinstalled in the Computer. After transferring the recordings to the Computer, you can use any CD Burning Software to burn the files to a CD.

Sony does not display a driver for Win7 64 bit version on their website. I read an article to route your recorder's audio-out into computer audio-in and use basic media software. I haven't tried this myself, but sounds like a logical temp solution to issue.

Need drivers for windows 7 for my sony icd p620 cannot find anywhere

This IC Recorder is not compatible with the Windows 7, Vista and Macintosh Operating Systems and at this point of time, there are no Drivers available.
However, you can transfer the files by connecting the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recording Software. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software that is pre installed in the Windows Operating System.

It should be plug-and-play. You need an USB cable

I can put a zip file with the installation CD's contents online; it'll be available for 7 days from the time i put it online.
